[ 100.days.of.poems : 2010 : series two ]
Annual Pohem Writing Project has returned
to the new Placebo for My Dis-ease.
Greetings Everyone!
Wow.
Inspired last year by Valerie Roney's vr own work of the Sohbet Group sg and interactive poetry project, I discovered this daily method required dedication, and the precise opportunity I needed to keep myself on track writing content I needed to produce.
Although I felt that task was successful, it challenged me to break some molds, meet a personal deadline everyday, find different ways of working with sounds & words, and re-established the joy, sincerity, and surprise of daily writing; the whole point was to create a healthy habit that gave me a lot more content to work from.
So here we go again. I look forward to creating new and hopefully inspiring work this year. With my many projects on my plate, such as Corbae, Cadmic, { X }ten.days, it will be wonderful to see how these all develop over 2010.
What.. What's going on here?
I'm glad you asked.. Bryan McLean (ya, that's me) has been writing poetry and content for over twelve years now. I've produced several written works, all of which chronicle adventures, dreams, events, satire, lyrics, and fictitious characters.
From my most recent work on The Syndrome Papers (free download); to my past writing on Amore*pheous Works, Cantos for the King of Fall, The Judash Diaries, Harsh Mandolin, and The Mephestopheles Books, All of which are produced under the 'Seconds in Silence'lh model of assemblage thematics and often touted as bohemian poetry, or my (p)reference the word, pohems. (keuroac, thomas, pound, ee)
bo·he·mi·an (b-hm-n)
n. A person with artistic or literary interests who disregards conventional standards of behavior.
After 100 days has run its course yet again, I will be compiling these completed two years into special edition eBooks by September's end in 2010.
bedtime for dƏmons
accounts of "dƏmons" in modern moments of the twenty-first centry. although fictitious tales, the protagonists here are just the characterizational portrayal of allegorical beings, struggling to live in transition. demons manifest through the ego or id, and the misconceptions that drive our character-selves.
(1)ne Night Stand : memori, sketches, & living.
Manifestos collected by Bryan McLean's personal writings, either from journal, dream, or memory. These are more personal accounts, some more encrypted than others, but all true of heart and thought.
Production will take some time by the end of this, but I'm looking forward to assembling yet another two works I've wanted to see all the way through.
its a very exciting time, as spring unfolds.
My mother says that Poems are dangerous.. that they lead to sex and a life of sin.. should I be reading these (in public)?
Yes, its safe. Be advised though I don't pull punches, I do not write explicit content or anything xxx.
Yet, I am also old enough to know the internet is not for the faint of heart, and my content can be graphic and seldom avoids the horror of any given scene. Be Prepared.

Yay! I'm so glad you're doing this again.
I think what I like most about these projects is being forced to see mundane things with poetic eyes.
Wishing you lots of poetic moments (and not too many poems that start with: F#*%!)
